Blogging has allowed me to virtually meet so many talented bloggers. One of them is today’s contributer, Beth from 123 Homeschool 4 Me. She is amazingly talented and creates so many great *free* printables for her readers. If you haven’t checked them out, head over there after you read this. Tell her I said hi!
With summertime just around the corner the kids & I have been talking about all the fun things we can do this summer – one of which is to catch fireflies. So when the spring storms started booming and scaring my kids I decided to make Firefly Nightlights to keep them company at night.
We used what we had on hand so our Firefly Nightlights were in canning jars. We used glow in the dark nail polish and glow in the dark paint.
I thought it looked so pretty! Now we let it dry.
Here is Minnie’s jar in the light.
The Firefly Nightlights will automatically “charge” during the daylight and be ready to go again at night for several hours.

This is such a cool idea! My son doesn't like being in the dark. He would love to have fireflies in his room with him.
